Pocket Change, Inc. is a nonprofit financial education corporation that serves a variety of social service agencies by providing tools and skills for the financial survival and empowerment of economically disadvantaged people who are actively seeking to improve their lives through educational, transitional and vocational programs and other similar services. Art for Change Give. Gain. Grow.

The First Annual Art for Change gallery show, held at Art Institute of Portland, was a huge success. Opening night September 4th, saw an estimated 500 people at the gallery.

It really was the place to be that night, thanks in part to weaving demonstrations by Gretchen Loesch, live music by Isaac Newman and food and drink provided by DPI Speciality Foods and Let's Eat Catering Co.

Thanks to our supporters, donors, and volunteers Pocket Change is able to hire our first professional grant writer. This allows us to take our next steps toward cementing Pocket Change, Inc. as an agent of financial literacy in the Portland Metro community. Thanks, Portland—you are amazing! ♥
